Spring (ferret) racing for Sandhurst Cup
The Sandhurst Cup is a long-standing feature of our club's social calendar, but this year's edition on Saturday 2 November will feature a first - ferret racing!
This should be a fantastic night out for all the family starting at 7.30pm - and it's easy for you to get involved. The main event will be coordinated by Whitey's Ferret Racing, who have been running similar events across our region for many years.
The event will feature five qualifying races, each featuring five ferrets. You can purchase one of 20 ferrets for $50 ahead of the event, or bid for one of five remaining racers on the night. Or for $100, you can purchase the naming rights for your business for one of the five heats. Use the form below to make your purchase.
The winning ferret in each qualifier will then compete in the feature race - the Sandhurst Cup! The overall winner will earn its owner a cash prize of $500!
We'll have some nibbles available on the night and the bar will be open. And make sure to wear your best spring racing attire!
